Experiments in pronto plate lithography with chine collée - 2018 - Bergen, Norway
The lovely Elly Prestegård introduced me to the world of pronto plate lithography. While these plates require the lithographic process, they react differently from lithography stones or metal plates. We immediately found it difficult to reach a wide range of tone, but after determined investigation and experimentation, we reached a point where we could draw out the applied ink washes and combine the free immediacy of marks with chine collé.
